Under his leadership, TeleWorld Solutions has become a key organization for supporting companies on their wireless strategy, from consulting, network business planning, design, technology testing, and optimization.

Mr. Gerami is a key partner with his clients, providing technical guidance to many C-level executives for MNOs and Cable. Prior to TeleWorld Solutions, Mr. Gerami spent a decade working for Nextel, and Sprint in various management and technical roles.

As Head of Innovation & Digital Services at Zain Group, he leads new digital initiatives expected to generate $1B+ in annual revenues within the next 5 years. Some of these projects include companywide big data and API initiatives to create a unified view of the customer across all markets and a roadmap to launch the 1st pan-regional digital mobile operator in the Middle East.

As Chief Commercial Officer at Zain Saudi Arabia, he successfully reversed a 3-year trend of declining revenues and boosted our gross margin from 44% to 52%. As part of this effort, he created a new business unit dedicated to mobile broadband, dramatically slashing customer churn and boosting mobile broadband revenues by 241%.

And as Chief Commercial Officer at Wataniya Telecom, he increased revenues 10% despite the launch of a 3rd telecom operator. During this time period, the market leader lost 5% market share. He also established the 1st customer experience team at Wataniya Telecom which improved NPS score from 32 to 46 and winning back 46% of customer churn in the postpaid segment to achieve record levels of postpaid sales.

Basit's experience spans multiple verticals including telecom, technology, utilities, industrials, and private equity. He also has extensive experience working with companies in the US and around the world in over 50 countries.
